Who is Greentrack?
Green Track Farming LLP is a progressive joint farming business, formed in 2008, bringing together 1200 hectares of agricultural land, operating around a number of villages west of Cambridge. Economies of scale enable Green Track Farming to field a specialised and skilled labour force, utilising modern precision machinery.
Sustainable crops
What do we farm?
Currently our rotation includes winter oilseed rape, winter barley, spring barley, winter wheat, spring oats, spring peas and beans. We start harvest with winter barley in early July and finish with the wheat harvest through August.
Our goals are
- To capture quality premia on all crops
- To ensure the land is used with regard to the environment
- To enhance long term sustainability of the soils to continue to produce outstanding crops

We have a core team of four experienced full time operators focused on
- Management and agronomy
- Harvest
- Cultivation and establishment
- Pesticide and nutrient application
- Hedge, ditch and margin maintenance
This core group is supplemented annually with seasonal temporary labour, under the direct supervision of our farms manager. We take pride in a great team and are now looking for seasonal staff to bring in the 2023 harvest.
